Homemade Margherita Pizza

  • 1 pizza dough
  • 200g tomato sauce
  • 150g mozzarella
  • a few leaves fresh basil
  • a drizzle olive oil
  • to taste salt, pepper

For an even crispier crust, use a hot pizza stone.

    Preheat your oven to the maximum temperature (480°F / 250°C).

    Roll out the pizza dough on a baking sheet.

    Spread the tomato sauce on the dough, leaving a small border.

    Slice the mozzarella and distribute it over the pizza.

    Season with salt, pepper, and drizzle with olive oil.

    Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is well melted.

    Garnish with fresh basil leaves upon removing from the oven.
